End of the year. As last year, here is summary of my activities from year 2025.

Experience points

At the beginning of the year, my primary char (Thelo) had 428M exp totals. Now I have 520M exp totals, so +92M exp gained (excluding reinc taxes, etc.).

The secondary char (Tohelo) had 53M exp totals and now has 98M exp totals, so +45M exp difference.

In summary, 137M exp increase in the totals this year. That is about 115M exp less compared to last year. I didn’t have time to play as much and in addition this year I spent less time in monktarma reincs, which are my usual exp source.

Reincs

I was in 6 different reincs with my primary char:

1. level 92 human riftchanneller (78 days, reinced out on Jan 24, 2025) - 17M exp gained
2. level 83 human alchmerchant (79 days) - 0M exp gained
3. level 97 human monktarma with inner_circle (82 days) - 62M exp gained
4. level 97 human riftchanneller + asphyx mage (79 days) - 16M exp gained
5. level 97 catfolk monktarma with inner_circle (79 days) - 34M exp gained
6. level 100 minotaur monktarma + animist + 1 inner_circle level for fabs (current reinc, 20 days so far) - 15M exp gained atm

The secondary was in 7 different reincs:

1. level 60 human monk with 16 tarmalen levels (130 days, reinced out on March 27, 2025) - 25M exp gained
2. level 55 human riftwalker + magical mage (18 days) - 5M exp gained
3. level 47 drow merchant (42 days) - 0M exp gained
4. level 79 orc ranger + beastmaster (55 days) - 10M exp gained
5. level 69 minotaur liberator + animist (11 days) - 1M exp gained
6. level 75 human monktarma (79 days) - 15M exp gained
7. level 70 valar alchmerchant (current reinc, 72 days so far) - 0M exp gained

This year only the drow merchant reinc could be considered failed one, although I didn’t like minotaur liberator+animist either even if it was working well enough.

My favourite is still human monktarma together with full inner_circle levels.

While the minotaur monktarma+animist allows slightly better (solo) exp rate than human, its quality of life is worse due to lack of navigator levels and lack of better protection spells from inner_circle (like Armour of Aether and type prots).

Equipment parties

Only one “real” equipment party this year: Wildspace/Xirtonne.

My monktarma reincs are mostly meant for exp and I didn’t have time to party much as riftchannellermage.

Of course, I soloed some bigger monsters like Rendevelin and drow alchemist. In the past, these monsters would have required a 4man party at least.

Other notable achievements

Here is a list of my other notable achievements from 2025:

• 500M exp totals. This was one of my primary goals for this year.
• Level 100 reinc and minotaur race leadership
• Channeller guild leadership for a moment
• Electric blue navigator rose
• All Esirist quests for Tohelo
• First elemental Ki power monk quest done
• Continued coding my own BatMUD client. It isn’t ready for public yet, but maybe some day…
• Relatively good eqset gathered for channeller

Plans for 2026

I am not really committing on anything, but based on the history, I could try some predictions for 2026:

• 600M exp totals for the primary character. At the moment, I have 520M exp totals, so only +80M exp more should be doable.
• Continuing my own MUD client. I hope get it to usable level for myself during 2026. It still completely missing Batclient protocol support and a trigger mechanism, but the trigger system is already under work.
• More equipment parties. I rarely have time for 1 or 2 hours of continuous playing, but if I find any, it would be nice to refresh my memories with some smaller eq monsters.
• Alchemist research done for Tohelo. Currently, the base research is done only for one mineral, but once I get into speed, it should be relatively straightforward to do the research completely. On the other hand, soon Tohelo has been 80 days in the reinc. It might be tempting to reinc into something else once the instant reinc tax goes below 2%.
