Yet another Rixx event started. As usual, I created +int silk sleeves as my Rixx-Tec eq.

This time I had gathered eqs worth of 510 zinium. This allowed me to get +8 int stat bonus. In addition, I selected +1 Blast vacuum spell bonus. I had studied Blast vacuum up to human spellmax (95%), but when converting Shinarae’s event eq (amulet) to give +4 Blast vacuum bonus, I got Blast vacuum up to 100%.

Increasing the spell percentage from 95% to 100% gives a small spcost reduction.

Channeller spell damage

V was interested to know how much my channeller offspells do damage and volunteered to be damage test dummy.

I blasted him 4 times with with following results:

V had full resist any boon, although I had also full art of war boon (= -resist), so they probably cancel each other out at some level.

In addition, I tested Blast vacuum (95% spell at the time of the test) at him twice:

Relevant stats were:

• I was channeller leader with blue aura
• Channeller supply (check supply) was full (You are a towering inferno of energy! Your supply is at full strength)
• Int 372
• Wis 200
• Mastery of channelling 100%, Flow of magic 100%, Channelball 99%
• Knowledge of asphyxiation 100%, Essence of asphyxiation 19%, Blast vacuum 95%
• I had fulgurite bracelet with +1 magic damage
• I had full Grand sorcerer (+offspell dam) boon

NOTE: The amount of the blasts were very small, so you couldn’t get good statistical distribution on how much the damage varies, but at least the numbers give you some indication/direction.

Channelbolt at golem

One of my channeller golems have Report ability. It can report its hit points when asked. This prompted me to do some blast tests at it also. As the golem is made from iron, it resists asphyx and magical, but doesn’t resist electric damage, so I ended up using Channelbolt.

The test was roughly following:

The second blast was somewhat surprise. I have never before seen channelblast damage being over 600 - except with damcrit (this time it was a normal blast).

One should note that channeller golems are somewhat special things. I don’t know how much one can rely on the blast results done against them.
