After being 79 days in the catfolk monktarma reinc, I did (instant) monk-to-monk reinc and switched to minotaur. In the catfolk monk reinc, I was concentrating on +avoid and +dex and therefore the build was leaning on the defensive side. But, now I took a different approach and tried to do a monk which does more damage.

High strength, 5.95% dam reinc flask, full Enhanced damage and Improved combat speed boons, minotaur racial attack with Primal Adept monk skill and animist soul should give a nice damage output boost compared to the catfolk monk (where I had only medium Enhanced damage boon and not much else for damage).

Level 100 and minotaur race leadership

To get everything I wanted including 100% skillmax (full skillmax boon with one secret society level for +1 skillmax), I had to inflate myself to level 100. This reinc is my first at level 100. I guess at this point one can consider that the game is either played through or just starting.

I also got minotaur race leadership. At the moment, the high level players aren’t playing minotaur (usually there is some rebirth race which suits them better) and the second “best” minotaur player after me had about 100M less exp.

Downsides of the reinc

Minotaur has high spellcost and low spellmax, so I didn’t have enough exp for tarmalen spells. The lowest level healing spells and the masteries are 100%, but everything else is 80% or below. In addition, minotaur has quite poor spr and spmax.

Also, I don’t have much animist soul reputation or exp for soul skills, so the soul is almost useless until I have grinded enough rep and exp for it.

Other notes

This is first time when the monk combo skills were correctly carried over monk-to-monk reinc. All the combo skill levels were restored correctly and maxed out combo skills also properly gave the Martial arts bonus.

Earlier, there always has been some bug, so I have tried to avoid reincing from monk to monk.
