I reinced my primary char back into human monktarma. I was considering catfolk first, but then I decided that I want to have decent spmax (for heals and Armour of Aether). Human also has better exprate and cheaper skills/spells than catfolk.

This allowed me to take 100 levels and still get most monk skills to 100% and tarmalen spells to 95%.

This is also my second level 100 reinc, although compared to earlier level 97 monktarma reincs, I mostly got a few training points and 3 society levels more.

As the reinc flask, I selected 6% spmax. Together with Mind over body (wis/int/etc bonus), and full spmax/int/wis/superchar boons I got over 1.3k spmax.

Monk quests and combo skills

So far I have done 5 monk guild quests after the reinc. The next quest would be the tree planting quest with a battle against the bear.

The monk combo skill grinding I have started again from the Laenor skills. I have Wave cest strike at 92% and other skills lower.

Fulgurite site chest mimic kill in one run

While exploring fulgurite sites, I run into a chest mimic. It was a positive surprise that I was able to kill it in one run (usually it even grapples you and prevents you from running away, so you need to teleport out):

You try to force the chest with your shovel.
The shovel gives you extra leverage!
You force with all your might but cannot break the chest open.
The chest pounces into action! ARGH! It's a mimic!
Your keen senses note a disturbance seconds before the ambush! 
You try to force the mimic open, but only manage to get yourself stuck in the process!
Chest mimic starts grappling you.

You hear the faint clinking of coins in your money bag as coins are added.
Chest mimic dies in a massive pool of blood. 
Chest mimic is DEAD, R.I.P.
