I reached 440M exp totals for the first time. I have now been about 3 weeks (20 days) in the reinc and have made 16M exp so far.

Monk combo skill grinding is progressing nicely. Wave crest strike is now maxed out and Geyser force kick and Tsunami push are pretty close:

Hillside mine

Acidia added recently a new mine type, Hillside. I went there for a little explore and found a lot of 50k..70k monsters and also 134k one, A HUGE water dweller trashing around violently!.

There were some warnings on the merchant channel that the monster might be a big one:

... [merchant]: the biggie is at the quarry room. fast consider on my main char said bulging muscles. better skip that sort =D

However, when I tested killing it, I noticed that I was able to do damage to it and after about 30 minutes of fighting, I got it killed.

An abandoned and flooded quarry.
You've arrived to an old quarry, abandoned for some time ago and flooded by
muddy water. The rocky walls of the hillside are mostly made out of clay and
limestone, but there's a glint of some substance unknown to you. There's no
functional equipment anywhere, only rusting and rotting remnants of mining
apparel here and there. Flooded water has completely ruined any excavations
they had going on, and is now sitting quietly covering the whole area just
waiting for time to forge this place. The surface of the water ripples
ominously, as if something was hiding just beneath the surface.
The still water here is barely covering your toes.
Obvious exit is: leave.

You stomp and mess around in the water for a moment, hoping to stir some kind
of reaction from whatever is hiding beneath. After a moment, you see some
bubbles and rising to the surface and feel a slight tremble!

Suddenly, a HUGE tentacled monstrosity digs itself up from the shallow water
and mud, rises towering above you and attacks without hesitation!

Your keen senses note a disturbance seconds before the ambush!

....

You are prepared to do the skill.
You see an excellent opening and *SWAT* the flat of your hand against Dweller's neck, hitting both arteries!
You then bring the heel of your hand into its throat just for good measure!
You have a new TOP solo kill!
Dweller suddenly stops breathing and jerks a couple of times violently, then falls to the ground, lifeless.
Dweller is DEAD, R.I.P.
